Discussing Debbie

By Coach Debbie.  About Coach Debbie.  Doesn’t get any more vain than that.

  • Favorite movie genre: romantic comedy
  • Done anything crazy? I used to steal “loose gravel” street signs with friends in high school. I had my fake ID taken in college at a bar and paid dearly in multiple ways. I was the kid who would sneak out at night to meet friends or boys. Okay, let’s stop there.
  • Stranded on a deserted island. Your most basic need (other than necessities): chapstick.
  • Sweet or salty? Sweet.
  • First thought in the morning: Are you kidding me?!
  • Favorite YouTube video: Sweet Brown (“ain’t nobody got time fo dat!”) OR “Mom my Ride”
  • How to spend a million dollars: beach house, SUV, boat, ridiculous wardrobe, tithe, chef, nanny.
  • Bad habit: Cracking knuckles. Rolling my eyes at others’ bathroom selfies. Saying the word “awesome” entirely too much.
  • If you could live anywhere it would be: Caribbean. Beach and pool in my backyard. I’d move tomorrow.
  • Any hidden talents: Spanish was my concentration in college but that’s faded fast. I can act interested in what someone is saying when I am not. My elbows hyperextend.

  • Something many don’t know about you: I’m an introvert. And my first impressions are always wrong.
  • If you had a month of free time to learn a new hobby what would it be? Pole dancing.
  • Put your itunes on shuffle. The first 5 songs that pop up:   1. Pachelbel’s Canon in D.   2. Teach me how to dougie. 3. Concrete Angel.   4. The proof of your love. 5. Dreaming my Dreams.
  • What’s your latest text say: “not the first time”
  • Ever had a poem/song written about you? Yes.
  • Ever had a rumor spread about you? After my husband’s funeral, there was a rumor I was pregnant with a girl.
  • Readers will be disappointed to learn that: I cheated throughout high school, I don’t really recycle, I’ve never given blood.
  • Single best decision you’ve made in your life so far: Asking Jesus to be my Savior.
  • Ever thrown up in a car? I was hungover and riding with a boy who was dreamy and I had a major crush on. Needless to say, it didn’t work out.
  • Do you want to build a snowman? No.
  • Ever been skinny dipping? More times than I can count.
  • Dream sandwich: Growing up, my mom made an amazing combination of diced American cheese, diced bologna, ketchup and diced green olives. Heat and enjoy.
  • Tell us about this guy Jason. I’ve known him for a dozen years. He loves Jesus in a very real way. He serves others. He folds laundry without being asked. I’m walking down the aisle to him this summer.
